Fresh concerns have emerged as Abosede Aloba, mother of the late singer Mohbad, raises alarm over the alleged abduction of her younger son, Adura.
Eyewitnesses claim that Adura was taken by unidentified armed men, suspected to be police officers, shortly after leaving the Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos, on Wednesday afternoon.
Reports indicate that Adura appeared in court over a legal dispute concerning a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde. The case escalated into legal action involving actor Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Ayinde, and others. However, what seemed like a routine legal matter took a disturbing turn.
In a viral video, Mohbad’s mother was seen weeping bitterly inside a vehicle, her voice filled with anguish as she lamented her son’s sudden disappearance.
Speaking in Yoruba, she pleaded for help, claiming that armed individuals had forcefully taken Adura, leaving her distressed and uncertain about his safety.
Abosede accused Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo of orchestrating the abduction, alleging that Adura was taken despite being unwell.
She cried out, “Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him.
“It’s Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo who took him. My son did nothing to them. Dear Nigerians, please stand by me.
“They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him — he is sick.
“The real culprit has already confessed and admitted to doing it. They’ve been begging me since this morning, even his lawyer pleaded with me. But I told them the matter is already in court — there’s nothing I can do.
“Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”
