Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has reacted on social media after fast-rising artist Toliban thanked him for promoting his song “Ramadan.”
Toliban, born Abubakar O. Abdulmutolib, is a budding singer and skit maker who has been gaining attention following the release of his viral song “Ramadan.”
The track reflects the ongoing Ramadan season observed by Muslims nationwide, and several celebrities, including Don Jazzy and Charles Okocha, have joined in creating content around it.
However, Grammy Award-winning star Wizkid also showed support by posting Toliban’s hit song on his Instagram page with 18M followers today, March 20, 2025.
Reacting to the unexpected support, Toliban completely lost it, shouting excitedly by the roadside in a viral clip.
He expressed gratitude, saying:
“@wizkidayo GOD BLESS YOU KING 🙇♂️😭🙏.”
Following this, Wizkid acknowledged Toliban’s appreciation by liking the video of him celebrating.
