Controversial Artist Faces New Legal Trouble
Nigerian street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has been arrested again—this time over a petition by Fuji music veteran Saheed Osupa.
The arrest was made on Sunday, April 13, by the Kwara State Police Command, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. According to police spokesperson SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the arrest followed a valid warrant secured from a Magistrate Court in Ilorin.
“In view of the weight of these allegations and the supporting evidence presented, the command secured a valid arrest warrant,” she said.

Saheed Osupa, born Okunola Saheed, accused Portable of:

The charges stem from offensive statements allegedly made by Portable across social media and other platforms.
Portable Responds on Instagram
Shortly after his arrest, Portable took to his Instagram Story, pleading with fans and the public to intervene. He stated:
“Make una help me beg Osupa. I don’t have any issue with police. Na him say make dem come carry me.”
Awaiting Arraignment
The singer has since been transported to Ilorin for further questioning. As of now, he remains in police custody, and preparations are underway for his formal arraignment in court.
This is not the first time Portable has made headlines for the wrong reasons. His frequent brushes with law enforcement have often overshadowed his musical achievements.
